In January the Bad Weather Birds escaped to the Outer Banks for their second annual weekend away. Furniture was cleared to make way for instruments, amps, and miles of cable. After a few stabs at songs, we turned to the unknown instead. For two days we improvised uninterrupted and uninhibited.
